Cloves, perfumey, to be honest a bit rubbery. Slight cherry cola.
This is my first foray in Ripasso, so I’ll be honest I don’t have a great reference point here, but this seems a bit acidic.
Definitely immediacy in the fruit flavors of cherries, berries, and even some apples.
Bolder but does a feel a bit thin to me.
Overall good not great.

A relatively light wine for the style. All the right flavors seem to be there but are tremendously muted for a Ripasso style wine. Almost seems watered down.

good, but not typical of this varietal. much lighter than usual, but still hints of ripasso flavors. non-ripasso drinkers would probably like this.
