Not particularly Cabernet. Geranium aromas with notes of blueberry pie. Lacks some mid palate flesh finishing with some astringency. Just an ok wine. This producer does much better with Pinot Noir and Chardonnay in the Yarra Valley.

Not particularly Cabernet in nose or palate. Some green notes. Fairly straightforward, lacking in complexity and unlikely to gain any. Unimpressed considering the Winemaker and the district.

A glimpse into the future of Yarra Valley perhaps? A Bordeaux blend with remarkable balance. Young definitely, but very approachable now. Cassis dominates, darks fruits basically, spice, cedar, herbs, earth. Beautiful tannins, excellent oak use, and persistent finish.

Way too big for its boots at the moment. Let it sit. Really is a monster.
