Travelling well at 7 years but not made for the long haul. Light to medium crimson with tawny aged rim. Savoury Cherry aromas with forest floor/compost heap. Light to medium weight but with M plus intensity and soft tannins. An excellent Australian Pinot and amazing value - I remember paying around $45.

A perfect marriage of oak and exactly ripened fruit. This wine was the rightful winner of the Jimmy Watson trophy in 2013 but sold out (no disrespect to Yabby Lake which was awarded the Trophy). Light bodied with great intensity. Gaining in weight from my first tasting 2 years ago. Tried another bottle on 24 Sept 2016. Developing nicely and gaining weight. Great balance between savoury and fruit. Now giving it 2 extra points to 96 pts.

This is the wine that was a close runner up for the Jimmy Watson - not sure what the fuss is about - certainly not my style - simple, thin & light IMO

Love this wine. Can't find it in Aus as it was an " award winner", but at $35 US, it was a great find when I got back home
