Nose: grape - almost artificial, like a popsicle. Dirt, dried leaves. “Fumey.” White pepper. Plum skin (tannic smell). Alcohol smell.
Palette: tannic, dries out gums (right away). Round/full. Smokey. Juicy - grape, plum, berry. Jammy.

Complex nose is slightly sweet with notes of cinnamon, rosemary, leather, and tar. The palate is anything but sweet and frankly pretty nasty. It has little character and subtle notes of dry cherries, soil and leather. Light body, soft tannins with silky mouthfeel. The palate was just not there for me. I'll cook with it instead.
