Weird as heck to get NA in a sparkler. Not unpleasant at all but it takes a bit of time to get used to brambles, black fruits, and stalky flavours and aromas. Once I keyed in it was enjoyable as something new. Probably too risky to buy for someone else. Solo experimentation only. To be encouraged though. Perhaps worth exploring higher altitude higher ripeness? Appreciate that'll mean higher alcohol. If the peppery aromatic fun and black fruits could be dialled up and the stalks down, this could be a revelation.
