Barbera d'Alba

Okay I guess. No mid palate. Expected more from this producer.

Never really enjoyed Barbera, find there's too many examples lacking any real definition, this one is high toned/aromatic, showing really well.

Acidic, not too heavy. Very tasty

Not too much going on in flavor. A bit tannic with no complexity. Helped a little to decant overnight and better with red sauce pasta.

Pairs exceptionally well with black truffle potato chips!

Good wine selection at Eataly Chicago. This was good after breathing for a while. Went well with spaghetti Cacio-Pepe.

One of my all-time favorite wines; hard to describe, definitely better with food. Had this at Eataly in Chicago!
