Impenetrably dark with garnet undertones and a wide edges. A really nice floral nose with cinnamon, blackberries, and tons of herbs along for the ride. At 14.8 this is exactly the kind of huge Zinfandel that we’ve all become adjusted to. High alcohol, super hot, and very full bodied. Still, it manages to rise above the rest somehow. Very smooth palate of vanilla, blueberry jam, cherry pie, and just a small touch of burnt tobacco. Bright acidity keeps this from becoming too hot and heavy.

Hot out of the gate, settled down the 2nd day. Was expecting more fruit but enjoyable.

Big spice, vanilla notes and as someone else mentioned bramble fruits! This is a big Zin and a bargain at that!
