Brut Cremant du Jura Chardonnay Blend

Lots of weight by way of juicy red fruit. More fun than expected.

Zesty, chalky lemon & lime on the nose, light and very refreshing with punchy green apple acidity with a chalky finish, a most excellent aperitif!

Can I be a grey haired Gen-X for a moment? I just want to walk into a wine store and buy a bottle of cremant de Alsace or Loire - I just want something that's not Champagne, a fun sparkling version of my favorite white grapes but instead all I can repeatedly find are these miss or hit bottles of 'bio' 'natural' fizzy wines. This one is a good example - I walked out with fairly high hopes (it did have a cork and not a metal beer cap after all) but after I opened it and the yeasty nose wafted away I am still left with a wine that for a few moments brought these surprising flavors of elderflower, but then that left too and I am left with a bottle of fizzy, slightly soured jus des raisins.

Jäst och frukt, gult och grönt, äppelfriskt, Golden Delics', rejäl syra, kanske ovanligt hög i en brut, touch av farinsocker. Härligt. (100% savagnin, ej chard)

This was a bomb straight out of the gate but settled down nicely with notes of limeade n stuff. Zev juice for real.
