Actually this is a Red Blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (36%), Cabernet Franc (28%), Merlot (28%), and Petit Verdot (7%). My wife, son and I stumbled on this vineyard on the way back from the Shenandoah Mountains. It’s a little gem hidden in Rappahannock, Virginia following the Italian family wine-making traditions.

One of our favorite because of the smooth and silky taste, mixed with hints of cherry and dark chocolate. Nice finish and a touch of terroir flavor.
