Quite impressive CDP, a bit young, but gave up pretty quickly. Nice treat in the middle of Beijing.

Really powerful nose, smells of roses and forest. Musty. It's great. Medium to full bodied, fruit forward (dark fruits like blackberry), palate coating. Tasty, but needs air.

Pepper, morels and balsamic reduction. Cooked blueberries on the palette. Lots of well rounded tannin surrounded by ageable acid. Long finish.

Blueberry pie, roasted game and a peppery finish. A long, tannic finish gives just enough backbone without being overwhelming. Well balanced and just well done.

Excellent and ripe. Tannins have mellowed. Juicy fruit.
