I have not had a lot of luck with Amarone in the US but this one in the Veneto is excellent - far less austere than the Quintarelli last night, more versatile across different dishes but also maybe a touch more acidic

Rich. Heavy. Very little tannin. Dried red fruit.

Strong bouquet, light on the tongue
