Frey
Biodynamic Petite Sirah
This one was tricky. I enjoyed it immensely as it opened up the more I drank. Bright and fruity on the palette with a nice long finish. I just may pick up another bottle or two and see how it ages...

Mar 14th, 2017Really enjoying this. Aroma is a bit yeasty. Black cherries, blackberries and blueberries. Undertones of oatmeal and Honey-Comb cereal. Juicy ripe fruit upon entry, broadening through the mid-pallet, finishing with a touch of dark soil and oak tannin.

Jun 14th, 2015I didn't expect much from an organic wine, but this bottle from the first certified organic vineyard (Frey)was a delight. Not a lot of layers, but beautiful berry fruit and soft earth with enough body to stand up to moderately spicy food. Would definitely buy it again and highly recommend!
