Purple core and cherry rim. Nose: black fruit, hints of pipe tobacco, and a herbal touch (eucalyptus). Palate: dry, fresh acidity, full body, dry tannins, and nicely balanced. Flavors: rich black fruit (black plum) and toffee. Finish is long.
