Loved the 2007. Not sure what happened in 2008, but I open a bottle every year or so and it doesn’t seem to move—very strong & bitter tannins. Decanted and left open two days and barely a change. From other comments on more recent vintages, it looks like maybe 2008 was an aberration. But we really liked the 2007, so don’t let this put you off.

Excellent 200 case production of Jack Bittner. Half ton per acre, elegant wild red berry fruit. Long and silky.
