Quite chunky. But too much chocolate/stewed fruit for me, compared to other St Jo's in a line up. I crave the violet/pepper end of the spectrum.

Black cherry on opening, after an hour of decanting: plum, licorice, leather, hint of sage. Incredibly smooth, soft tannins, ripe black fruits. Easy drinking syrah from an all-time favorite winemaker.
