Fairly dark for Zinfandel, with a slight mineral nose, good Zin fruit, notable for not being hot and having good grip, a mineralic streak in the mid-palate, and decent acidity.

This 2006 is still drinking good, but I think my palate has changed over the past decade. It's tasting a little too sweet for me now, maybe it's the time in the bottle, maybe it's me, most likely both. On the jammier side of red Zin, which can be very versatile and approach a cab, but not this one. Sweeter than I like 'em.
