Generally enjoy mosaic brews, but this one tasted a bit watery and flat...noticed the bottle was approximately 6 month’s old after the fact...that could easily be the problem.

Another very solid IPA from Founders, showcasing Mosaic hops, citrus and Piny, orange peel, grapefruit, slight tropical hints, peach, pineapple, not too complex, just nice one dimensional mosaic hops, but that is good for those who do not understand how much one single hop can really make a very good IPA, just that very single Focus, gives you a deeper knowledge of how much one hop can defined a beer, and then you recognize that hop in other beers, but all that really means to be said about this beer, it is a very good beer in the style, and does exactly what it aims for, simply put, you like mosaic hops, this is the IPA for you

Want to try this on tap; bottled is delicious. First whiff after pour has a green, bracing freshness (pine?) that burns off as it sits for a few minutes, so savor that first sip! Citrus and apricots, great mouthwatering acidity. You'll keep sipping. For Founders, a clean and more minimalist beer. Nice change-up from them!
