The Façon Rouge is a blend of; 48% Syrah, 27% Mourvèdre & 25% Grenache from Columbia Valley. 100% neutral French oak for 18 mouths. On the nose; blackberry, blueberries, black raspberries, pepper, black olive, black earth with violets. On the palate M body and M+ tannins. blackberry, blueberries, black raspberries, pepper, dry crushed rocks, deep spices with a little heat, soft leather, black tea and violets. The acidity is a touch high but the finish is round, fruity and very easy to drink now.
