Very rich nose of rum, raisin, and dark chocolate. A good decant produces a silky tannin structure with a good front pallet tug. Some pepper, savoury herb and generous fruit with that reductive character that is hinted to on the nose. Quite decadent and warming. A great experience. The grapes are left on the vine until super ripe to help balance out the heavy tannin that is typical of the variety. 15% alcohol.
