Centenario 18 Slow Aged Single Estate Rum

Consistent notes from February 2019. Molasses Caramel etc and ultra smooth. A top quality rum from Nicaragua. Great minerality from all the old lava flows in that country where the sugar cane grows. 18 years old.

Aromas of molasses, caramel, brown sugar and Tarry notes. On the palate Smooth Smooth Smooth. An easy sippin rum if ever there was one. Best drunk neat and if with ice a very small cube. So good you don’t notice the alcohol ( until the next morning)!! Product of Nicaragua. Cane grown in decomposed lava flows. Came to the end of the bottle - need to buy another bottle. Not that easy to get in Australia. Brilliant Rum.

Lovely mature rum. More complex as the age develops. Molasses notes not surprisingly as this is what it comes from. Bought a bottle after this superb Flor de Cana tasting of Nicaraguan Rum. The 25 year old is now imported into Australia. God only knows how good it must be.
