"Torcolato" it is made only in the area of Breganze (Veneto), from a wise choice and a great attention to clusters of grapes Vespaiolo that, to wither, are twisted (intorcolà) in the string in an aired room. By the way the wine here is not the sweet torcolato one, instead it is - always by Firmino Miotti - his sparkling wine "Strada Riela" from vespaiolo grapes as well, kept on the lees, unfiltered "col fondo" so as it is called in italian that cloudy sediment. Pairing was just impeccable with pumpkin lasagna homade by my mom: I would say it was a "sudden spiritual manifastation" and it is no coincidence I had it both (wine+lasagna+pumpkin) on January 6 the Epiphany or the Three Kings Day. http://www.firminomiotti.it/
