Reserve Series Velvet Merkin Bourbon Barrel-Aged Oatmeal Stout

Probably the best 'stout' I have ever had!! Aged 2 years at 58 degrees.

Creamy, chocolatey, yummy

Great flavor! Mocha a little coffee grind and a slightly dusty. Not what I imagined after a year in storage but still a great beer. Better young or after 6 months

Oatmeal cookie, vanilla, subtle bourbon flavor, a touch of coffee roast. Body is medium, very smooth and drinkable. Acidity is low. Lingering moderate sweetness. It's good, not great, so I wouldn't buy it again for $15 nor advise you to (buy Samuel Smith Oatmeal Stout instead).
