With a sweet and silky nose, the wine splashes over the tongue reminiscent of the first and sudden plunge into a frigid ocean. However, this Cotes Du Rhone is excessively sweet, oh my, no no. Perhaps I've had an overly dry day or over-chilled the bottle, but this faux sangria does not hit the spot at night time. Would not drink again unless under duress.

Update: considerably better warm. Even keeping in mind that any alcohol is a close comfort after repeated 18 hour work days.
