Certainly needs to open up a bit but once it does it’s medium-full bodied. Dry but fruity. Had by itself but would love with some soft cheese like brie or goat.

Nice dark, rich heady nose. Flavors are also full, rich and deep. Chocolate and berry-apple tarts. Lovely bitter, licorice-y finish. A great Italian. For the price, a steal.
