Jul 31st, 2016a light little offering from cotes-du-rhone, but carefully expressive of the region's characteristics - plummy but not too cooked, fennel-ly but not too heavy, a bit of bite but not too sharp. paired well with rich gorgonzola cheeseburgers. a long soft tannin finish made the meal a feast.
