Mondeuse Vin du Bugey Mondeuse Noir

Very acidic and perhaps a bit astringent, but not at all boring. Smells like a caprese sun, strawberry rhubarb, chalk. Very cool, but I'm not loving drinking this to be honest.

Stemmy with notes of black tea and dark cherry. Great texture; present but light tannins.

Delicate fruit, a bit of structure in the background, perfect as always.

2013. Pretty pretty red table wine (edited: not Pinot).

Crayon meets paint thinner. Sharp and tannic.
