Casa Cisca Vino de Mesa Monastrell

Bodegas Castano "Casa Cisca" Espana.- Red ripe fruit, chocolate and cherry notes. Delicate, layered, smoked, with good concentration and character. Non vintage.

A very pleasant Monastrell a variety I don't get to drink that often. This deep purple wine, takes you on field trip with an herbaceous nose, then orange peels, spices and lots of forest and black fruits, medium to full body, with tight tannins that needs time to evolve, the wine needs some more time, my score 88, drink to 2025

This time around was great with a leg of lamb! Chocolate, coffee and mild tannins.

Started as oaked (woody), opened up with chocolate, and cigar. Dissipated by the end of the meal.

Forest, spices.

Had this in Madrid in a wine bar! The waiter called it “super-wine” Big nose, lots of oak,

Purple red. Fruity, oaky taste. Soft.
