Always fun to try a new varietal but I have to admit that this one was a little too rustic for my taste. Very light in both color and body. Pleasant yeast scents on first opening the bottle. Almost a bread dough impression. Flavors were primarily cherry. Just a bit of violets on the nose with time. On day one there was a weird artificial aftertaste but this was gone on day two. I'd recommend letting it breath for a couple hours if possible.
