Equinoxe Crozes-Hermitage Syrah

Such an interesting wine. The nose is hard to pin down. Both fruity but also maybe a little meaty/sanguine. There’s a really sweet background note like jam or preserves. When I first opened it it almost seemed to have the slightest tickle of carbonic maceration, but I don’t know. Very curious all around but I’m enjoying it.
