40% Carignan 30% Grenache 20 / 10 Syrah Mourvèdre . Lovely wine, big but refined, elegant even for the region. High toned, cherry fruited, decent lift on the mid palate , was recommended with squid in a parsley sauce and it worked quite well. After tasting too much flat, dull, sweet Grenache here in the Gard this came off as downright refreshing.

Very interesting nose loaded w spice and forest-y like elements. Almost feral. Bramble-y raspberry flavors, with some iron and graphite accents. Very good for such a humble wine

Very nice Rhone red. Nice tobacco notes on the nose and palate and lots of red cherry fruit. Light tannins and a medium long finish. Very enjoyable on its own or with food.

Wow. The first Rhone red to excite me in a very long time. Like sitting in a French countryside flower patch with a bowl of cherries and rosemary. Subtle, elegant and charming.
