Deep purple in color with a reddish rim.

Strong fruity nose with black currants, blackberries, cherries, dried figs, tobacco, spices, wood, earth, vanilla, cloves, dark coffee, light bell pepper, chocolates, bitter herbs, cola and peppercorn.

Medium plus in body and smooth, with medium plus acidity and long legs.

Dry and fruity on the palate with blackberries, sweet plums, cherry pie, dried figs, raisins, vanilla, oak, licorice, cloves, herbs, earth, cola, light vegetables, leather, spices, dark chocolates, coffee and peppercorn.

Long finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries.

This is a great Israeli red wine. Well balanced and soft, with great complexity and a nice mouthfeel.

Good right out of the bottle and better as it opens up (Needs an hour). This 6 year old is drinking very nicely now. Very tasty.

I paired it with cheeses and light appetizers.

A blend of 75% Syrah and 25% Petite Sirah. Aged for 16 months in Oak barrels. Kosher.

14.5% alcohol by volume.

91 points.

Deep purple in color with a purplish rim.

Strong nose of blackberries, figs, wood, barnyard, vanilla, vegetables, forest floor, smoke, tobacco leaf, spices, graphite, bitter herbs, black tea, mushrooms and black pepper.

Medium plus in body with medium acidity and long legs.

Dry on the palate with blueberries, plums, cherries, licorice, oak, earth, light vegetables, pencil lead, chocolates, smoke, spices, tobacco leaf and black pepper.

Medium plus on the finish with fine grained tannins and tangy cherries.

This Israeli Petite Sirah is delicious. Well balanced and enjoyable by itself or with food. Showing nice complexity and mouthfeel.

Needs an hour to open up properly. I really liked the nose on this 9 year old veteran. Still drinking nicely now, but was probably better a couple of years ago.

100% Petite Sirah grapes. Aged for 17 months in Oak barrels.

14.5% alcohol by volume.
