Well, this 2007 is now at nine years after the vintage... I wouldn't say that we were intending to age this fruit wine, but our accident has made for an interesting experiment. This bottle has made it through the years just fine!!! Certainly less sharp than the more recent 2014 vintage. Perhaps it was its high initial acidity that saved it in the cellar. Funny to say, but I actually enjoyed this nine-year-old fruit wine!

2014 rich blackcurrant flavour. Not sweet but not dry either. Just perfect! Would go well with a heavy tomato based meal
