This one is Sandy Lane Vineyard Petite Sirah. From Contra Costa County. Dark color. Had the deep purple cork deposit. Hint of nail polish on the nose. Also berry sauce and elderberry syrup. Flavors are ok. Still has the acetone and bitter strangeness of Elderberry in the mouth too. This seems like it coulda been a great wine, but the slightest of nail polish in it puts a wrench in things. The Livermore version of petite Sirah from these folks is miles better.
