If you're riding the super ripe Paso train and like Zin then rate it higher. Looking for a whisper? Pasoitup. But don't pour it out, adjust your attitude and pass it around!

On a mini Paso roll here with another excellent Rendition.
The 18’ seems to be more accessible than the 17’. Delicious black and blue fruits bring forth a velvety palate with round acidity and soft elegant tannins. Earthy and lightly candied long finish.

Only GSM for 2017, with 47% Syrah and 31% Mourvèdre and the rest Grenache. Slightly riper and more peppery than the 2016, but the same deliciousness. Definitely a bit young to open now.
I was told the 2017 would be even better than 2016 for the smaller wineries in Paso, as it had a large crops and the smaller wineries do not have the capacity to handle all the volume, so they are very selective in picking the fruits for their own bottles.

It's not my favorite of Ecluse's 2013s but still very good.
