Cranberry and Concord grape with an earthy undertone with hints of freshly fallen forest floor leaves. Paired surprisingly well with our Vietnamese Bahn Tet (Sticky rice and pork belly cakes), due it's potent acidity & fruitiness. ($14) [3/23/18]

The nose was so pungently beautiful right upon bottle open. Tart and ripe red berry fruits, a bit of mineral "spice", composty earthiness, anise, dill herbaceousness.

The palate was at first unsatisfyingly hallow and empty, with nice acid edges but no body of deep fruit and a textual mouthfeel that was lacking-- again, within 5 minutes of opening.

Really began to open up and ripe fruit and a rounder mouthfeel filled the center of the wine as it continued to breath and stretch out. Delicious.

Really surprised this had 8 years on it already. Really fresh.
