Our small panel detected slight brettiness, in this regard, this bottle was also slightly brighter and sweeter than the other two. Still, it's a profound wine with incredible depth and complexity. Notes of blueberry and blackberry, roasted meat and bacon fat, spice and earth set the stage. The attack is smooth, with finely integrated tannins and a sort of effortless perfection. Served with wild boar.

This was hitting on all cylinders! Rich, dense & full bodied with an elegant & seamless texture. Black cherry, raspberry, game, blood, pepper, graphite, olive, leather & violets were some of the notes. Lovely stuff!
