Whoa baby! Spicy for a merlot, and full of character! A little smokey, just enough dark fruit. Anything but boring. Would be amazing with a juicy steak!

Really nice wet blueberry boysenberry jam, dark purple, some tannin but ends wet and rich, not necessarily complex but really balanced

Over ripe dark fruit with minimal green notes. Drinks a little "sweet", but enjoyable enough, especially for a Merlot drinker. 2013. $24
