Grassy Sauvignon Blanc nose with minerality and tart citrus that is more reminiscent of a gruner or Albariño than sauv. Palate is more reflective of an Albariño with ripe tropical/melon fruit. Strong acidity and minerality on the palate. Quite an interesting wine well worth a try.

Delicious with food or on it's own. Well balanced, fruity, spicy, grassy, but bright. Unique flavor profile somewhere between Chardonnay and Riesling.

At first I got apple fruit and minerality, and then some citrus and herbal flavors developed. There's a perfect acidic snap to this wine. This is an uncommon variety and a nice change from familiar flavor profiles. I have tasted other years at the winery and sometimes it's peachier and more like a Riesling. But kudos to Frank and other Finger Lakes wineries for highlighting unusual varieties and being different in interesting ways.

Bright and clear. Intense aromatics and palate with borderline tropical fruit (stone fruits). Rounded body and good acidity. Complex and gorgeous freshness. Loved it!
