Oct 19th, 2020Given to me by friends, this is an amazing US Riesling. It does not have the typical petrol nose and taste of a German Riesling but every other characteristic is there and delectable!

2018. Purchased a case of Riesling heading into summer and grabbed this Finger Lakes wine because of the great price. Not too sweet, good pear flavors with some lemon/lime acidity.

Finger Lakes region wine from a family that started the viticulture business in the area. Strong green apple notes and went well with salmon dinner. Riesling just isn’t my style. It misses the spark for me of Italian whites and the depth of French ones. 12% alc by vol.
