2017 Vintage. 16.1% ABV. 60% Zinfandel, 15% Mourvèdre, 9% Grenache, 7% Petite Sirah, 6% Syrah, 2% Tannat, 1% Viognier. You called it @Stanley Barrios, just when we have drunk through our Zinfandels, we get sucked back in… Thank you!

Double decanted, then allowed for slow ox for 24 hrs. Strange, jammy on first taste. Day 2 developed into complex, layers of licorice, meaty, long mid palate. Will let the others rest for awhile. Upside is huge

All I can say is wow! This is a beautiful wine. It is integrated in complex and rewarding ways and a real revelation on the still latent stratospheric possibilities of Paso. I am certain that I will not be able to properly describe the magic here. This project of Justin Smith (Saxum), Philippe Cambie and Sasha Verhage is something very special. The flavors build and last forever. I found myself not wanting it to end. Grab this if you can get your hands on it. Simply spectacular.
