Blason d'Aussierres tasted mostly like Grenache. Raspberry sauce, white pepper, with medium acidity and mild tannin. perfect for our monthly meeting on Storytelling with Monica Guzman.

Good example from Languedoc that holds it's own with Rhone stalwarts Vacqueyras or Gigondas. Maybe a touch more Syrah than Grenache but a juicy mouthful with generous aromas and lingering finish.

Very nice, not strong, but no light either, French wine. Complex in nose, no fruits detected 😊. Long bouquet with great acidity. I found it a good company for hot, medium spiced food.
