Le Petit Prétan Givry 1er Cru Pinot Noir

Pinot Noir will always be my favorite.

I've held onto this wine for years. Making mushroom barley soup tonight with my fellow cold-addled wife it seemed like a good match. Yes! Umami pairing of the month. Still vibrant, fresh fruit and lovely acid, and that iron minerality that I remember from my days selling it with H2Vino here in Chicago.

Sono sorpresso di alcolcota (sopra 15%). Ma cominque e' molto buono. Era perfetto per la cena di sukiyaki, hotpot giapponese.

Acidic and mineral. Light and crisp. First has at Bacchus cru wine dinner.

Zwart rijp fruit in de neus met op de achtergrond wat potgrond. Fluweelzachte smaak van bramen en zoetzure rode bessen. Mooie zuren en best aanwezige tannines. Lange fruitige afdronk met een vleugje groene kruiden en kaneel. Lovely!

This was in great shape, all the good stuff. Might have to stash a few of these away for a few years...
