Meh. Expected better for the hype. It's not as smooth as others in this same vein. Has a decently complex range of flavor though. Woody finish to me, which I like.

Vincent Rochette, producer. Domaine Roche-Audran 2011 Côtea du Rhône Blend of 70% Grenache, 15% Syrah, 15% Carignan. Flavor profile: cured black olives, frijoles negros, bone marrow, smoked paprika, echinacea, unsweetened cocoa powder, heliotrope flower. 14% alcohol. I had this with Thai mixed seafood and black bean sauce. Delicious.
