Ravishing and complex despite the humble appellation. Aromas of Meyer lemon, spiced pear, hazelnut, vanilla bean and honey. Grilled pineapple flavors on the mid palate with salted caramel and wet stones on the finish. The saline lemon flavors echo throughout. Both voluminous and supple, showing ample ripe fruit but retaining a refined sense of nerve and minerality. One of the most thoroughly seductive and satisfying white Burgundy experiences I’ve had in a long time for less than $30, but certainly it is wonderful regardless of price point.
