From appearance this is perfectly mature. Subtle bricking, translucent. Within 30 minutes it is singing with notes of fresh black pepper- vivid, as if someone had cracked peppercorns into the glass. Behind the pepper is reddish purple fruit, a little pyrazine. The palate is smooth and engaging, leanish but balanced, with delicate, stretched out tannins on the finish.
