I am not sold on this. Notes of apple peel, heavy alcohol on the nose and some of the heat on the throat is a bit unpleasant. Maybe I would like it better if I had not recently had some delicious bargain Rhone’s that blew me away. Maybe it will turn tail as it opens up bit for now I won’t be seeking it out again.

Deep purple color.
Aromas of herbal, black fruit, leather.
Dry. Flavors of ripe blackberry, plum, licorice, black pepper, violet. Medium firm tannins. Barnyard on the nose, fruit explosion on the palate.

Plenty of Grenache. But good balance probably some Syrah also. Went well with red meats and roasted veggies. Solid food wine. A bit brash just to sip on its own.
