Rather light but very good balance of fruit; a little tar, and distinct meaty Syrah notes. Matched duck with cherry orange sauce very well.

2012 vintage, which wasn't an option. Classic Rhone aroma of flowers and black fruit. Very smooth palate, supple and juicy with something spicy on the back end. Not bad, but perhaps a little too fruity.
