Domaine la Bohème
Violette
Easy-going diluted cherry juice on a first sip but aftertaste is heavy as hell - imagine eating a deluxe dark chocolate but it is 100% cacao...
Interesting evolution in the glass. Initially cherry / dark red berries, in 5 minutes pickled cucumbers kick in (think Anton Van Klopper) but in 10 it turns into a fairly boring supermarket red

Dec 1st, 2018The word "primeur" on the front label was handwritten by Bouju. It is mostly the same cuvée as the standard Violette... just a bit fresher and glouglou-er. It was specially bottled to Stephane Planche from Les Jardins de St Vincent in Arbois.
