Quite excellent for a Pomerol. Very drinkable. Dark fruits with a slight peppery spice make it very drinkable both with a nice steak and on its own.

Pomerol, right bank Bordeaux known for its old world Merlot. I'm sure this bottle would have been more impressive if it was 2000 or 2005. It took an hour to open. The fruit was consistent and balanced, but it lacked the emotion of a finer wine/vintage. At this price point, you can find a lot better. Cheers!!
