Had the'78 with 26 others big eaters at annual Cassoulet party at Raccoon Creek Vineyards in NJ. Crazy fantastic food, great company, to many river to even remember, but this and the Mas Blanc solera bottling were standout dessert wines. These Roussillon beauties can easily hold their own with other port like sweets. It's just that you need 25 people to finish two bottles of them. Very interesting, both of them. Glad I saved them.
